Longsnout Seahorse (Hippocampus reidi) – Blue Heron Bridge, Riviera Beach, Fl
While shooting this Seahorse, I screwed on my brand new Nauticam CMC-1 (macro lens) and snapped a few exposures. When I reviewed the images, I was amazed at how much little detail this Seahorse had on and around its head. It reminded me of an ancient Roman gladiator helmet, with ridges, spines, and plates to protect its little head.
