The above image is of a fairly pedestrian object – the constellation Orion. However, I doubt you have seen too many images of Orion quite like this! This is only 2 total hours of data LRGB taken with my 50mm Nikon lens on the 11K @ -25C Lum 1X1; RGB 2X2 unguided during late January, 2010 (see above image of frozen equipment). Check out the Alien Face Nebula Sh2-264 at the head of Orion – right (link below), an apparent supernova remnant.
