Atlantic Lizardfish (Synodus saurus) – Blue Heron Bridge, Riviera Beach, Fl
Lizardfish are one of the most exciting subjects to shoot with fluorescent gear. Their entire body length lights up green as they explode out of their normal camouflage. This particular one sat poised on a little reef patch as I moved around, grabbing my images. I don’t think he knew how conspicuous he looked at the time, though.
