The wheelhouse of the UC lies on its side, most likely due to heavy currents caused by hurricanes over the years. What was up is now not as straightforward. The tilt of this part of the ship, which has broken off apart from the bow, provides a cool angle and makes exploration feel different than if it was sitting upright. My father, Bill (pictured), rides over the top of the stern while filming some video clips as I descended below to capture the bright colors cutting through the darkness.
